Wild Mountain Adventures offers you the chance to get away from it all in a pristine mountain environment. No work, no cellphones, no traffic. Just clean air, great food and the chance to have an adventure you will never forget.

All of these activities can be booked as a day trip or as a multi-day adventure. You choose what you enjoy doing and the pace at which you feel comfortable. We can adjust our trails to cope with varying abilities, ages and levels of fitness. Our 3, 5 and 7 day trails are designed to provide variety, exhilaration and adventure. We travel between guest farms by foot, pedal, hoof and paddle taking in spectacular scenery along the way.

Highlights include horse-riding to a magnificent waterfall, camping in a riverside cave, kayaking the Kraai river and cycling through awe-inspiring mountains.  We will show you waterfalls, mountain peaks, river gorges & caves – some spots so secret that even the locals don’t know about them. We don’t expect you to ‘rough it’ (unless you want to of course!).

Our multi-day trails include beautiful Guest Farm accommodation in remote and tranquil locations. Your job is simply enjoy yourselves. We’ll look after everything else including all catering & transportation of luggage between venues. Your experienced and qualified guides will ensure that your trips are fun, information is available and that all activities are carried out in a safe way

Our multi-day farm to farm 'Slackpacking' packages are priced at R675 per person per day. This includes equipment for mountain biking, horse riding and river rafting as well as all guiding fees, accommodation and meals.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit on booking, with the balance payable on arrival.
