Eagles Lodge is situated below the twin peaks of Champagne Castle and Cathkin in the heart of the Champagne Valley.

Eagles Lodge is close to a lot of attractions like the Drakensberg Boys Choir that has bi-annual music festivals that are not to be missed. A restaurant and golf course is also a stone through from Eagles Lodge at the Champagne Sports Resort.

Falcon Ridge, a falconry farm is a must see with regular displays and trout fishing at the Bell Park Dam. Several good restaurant are in the valley as well as a number of interesting curio shops, boasting among other things like candle-making and rug weaving. Helicopter flights are also available.
