Rebellie Game farm is situated only 300 km from Johannesburg, Durban or Bloemfontein, on route between the picturesque little art mecca of Clarens and Golden Gate National Park (GPS co-ordinates: latitude – S 28 34 54.6 longitude  E 28 29 15.1 , altitude 2010 meters above sea level). This area is referred to as the “Jewel of the Free State.“

Nestled in the serene mountainous landscape of the majestic Maluti Mountains, Rebellie offers the perfect sanctuary away from everyday city life, noise and stress. Relax, replenish and refresh your mind, body and soul. Soak in the beauty, tranquillity and crisp mountain air. No better haven to unwind at, than the luxurious Rebellie with its upmarket, yet affordable, variety of accommodation located in privacy on this 800 ha farm. We promise you service, style, luxury and comfort.
Boasting one of the Top Ten 4 x 4 Trails in South Africa (Drive Out Magazine 2005), Rebellie specializes to cater for the 4 x 4 enthusiast. The abundance of game and birdlife ensures prime viewing on mountain walks.
In addition Rebellie offers the facilities to accommodate conferences, functions and wedding receptions.

Accommodation

We can sleep 35 people in the Lodges.
All the beds are fitted with electric under blankets – it can become quite cold due to the altitude.
All the units are fully equipped, guests bring clothes and food

The Lodge

With its unique design, is in demand by guests for its comfort and luxury. Accommodation for 7 people consists of:
Main en suite bedroom with queen size bed and a log fireplace.
Second upstairs en suite bedroom with king size bed plus a single bed.
Loft with 2 single beds.
Third bathroom with basin, shower and separate toilet.
Living and dining area with fireplace.
Private jacuzzi.
Outside open shower.
The partially covered outside deck with built in braai, lends itself to excellent game viewing and breathtaking scenery. Romantically transform your environment at night - sipping champagne - just relaxing in the Jacuzzi by candlelight!

The Boesman Lodge

A luxurious open plan unit with a Bushmen theme. It sleeps up to 8 guests:
Main en suite bedroom with double bed.
Second bedroom – 2 single beds.
Loft – 4 single beds.
Second bathroom.
Living and dining area.
Log fireplace.
Jacuzzi .
Undercover deck with built in braai.

Mooihoek Chalet

A spacious “rondawel“. The fireplace in the centre, with its chimney extending through the double volume of the chalet, creates an interesting feature.
Accommodation for 8 people consists of:
Main bedroom – queen size bed.
Second bedroom – 2 single beds.
Two bed roomed loft – 2 single beds each.
Two full bathrooms – one bath with a view!
Huge open deck with built in braai and a panoramic view.

Loslit

Our more informal unit. It is ideal for small groups of one or both sexes, e.g. 4 x 4 groups,school leaders, church groups, team building, or just for that special birthday celebration. Accommodation for up to 12 people in:
Six rooms – 2 single beds each.
Communal kitchen / dining room.
Two bathrooms – one ladies / one gents.
Loslit features an adjacent indoor lapa with transparent roll up canvas sides. This allows for climate control and privacy. While the group gathers here for the braai or potjie, the immaculate scenery can be admired.
