Description

Nan's Country House is a newly renovated farm house situated in the Normandien ark in the Northern Drakensberg. The house ofers 12 comfortable beds in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equiped kitchen, dinning room and lounge.

Hikers can walk for miles in the hills, bikers can enjoy the farm roads, quads and 4x4's are also welcome. The Normandien pass starts about 5km away and has the most rewarding view.

There is also a bass dam for the fishermen. Horse lovers can bring their own trusty steed and go riding in the open veld, camps are available.

The house has a stunning view of the berg and a person can quietly spend your days relaxing in nature.

We are 50km from Newcastle and about a 100km from Ladysmith, on the freestate border.

From Memel into Newcastle right at first robot, right at fourth robot straight out of town, keep straight (35km) untill Normandien police station after bridge turn right onto gravel road up the hill the road splits turn left, the first road left is to Nan's country house. From Ladysmith drive to Newcastle, 70km on turn left onto gravel road at Normandien board, keep straight untill T junction, turn right onto tar road, keep straight untill road splits before a bridge turn left onto gravel road up the hill the road splits turn left, the first road left is to Nan's country house.
